Who can we trust when hospitals are killing babies?

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

We are a very peculiar nation. Let alone others understanding us, we don't even understand ourselves! Our reactions are so varied that it is impossible to decipher them.

Look at what happened when pork was found in some of Köfteci Yusuf's products, for example; it is impossible to make sense of it. No one believed the results of the ministry's inspections. The owner of the meatball chain came out and tore himself apart. He said, "I'm being set up," and everyone believed him. The restaurant was packed to the brim. Some even wrote songs, while others ordered crates of his products... Citizens even flocked to his branches, chanting "We won't let them eat our meatball maker," and ate one-and-a-half portions of meatballs each!

Then, whatever happened, the citizens who were chasing after Yusuf left him halfway. The same citizens who bought crates of products from the business lined up to return the items they had purchased. Now, they want to return the orders they placed online and get their money back!

Yet, those who chanted slogans and ate meatballs to support the restaurant are only cursing on social media to show their reaction to the degenerates who took the lives of babies and defrauded the state. There is no need to even mention what would happen if this incident occurred in another country. We currently know that they caused the deaths of 12 babies... Stop reading the "gang" nonsense. These are hospitals... Even if there is a gang involved, isn't it mind-boggling that a hospital, a doctor, a nurse, or any healthcare professional would do such a thing? It turns out one of the hospitals involved belongs to a former Minister of Health...

The Institute for Social Studies, in its research measuring social trends in Turkey, asked, "Could you name the two institutions you trust the least?" The results clearly revealed that no one has any trust left in anyone.

"Political parties" ranked as the least trusted institution in Turkey. While 25.1 percent of the survey participants chose this option, the Presidency of Religious Affairs took second place. In the first place, we have the politicians who govern us and aspire to govern us. In the second place is the institution that manages our belief system. There is actually no need to count the rest, but let's count them anyway...

The third place among the institutions that survey participants trust the least is the judiciary. Then it continues with the government, TURKSTAT, the opposition, the Parliament, and RTÜK...

How can a nation that does not trust these institutions trust hospitals or meatball shops? Who will a nation trust when snow falls on every mountain it relies on?
