While the Minister of National Education is busy trying to let religious communities and sects into schools, another one of our young people has lost their life in a high school fight!
In our country, which cannot train teachers, there is a mentality in power that tries to fill the gap with imams…

Who will be the candidate, what will the CHP do locally? Who will win Istanbul?
I know the agenda is occupied with a pile of questions, but what is more valuable in life than human life?
In the last two months, two high school students have lost their lives in fights!
Fire has fallen into the homes of two families, and the lives of the other 16-year-olds accused of murder have also been ruined.
Most recently in Kocaeli, a beautiful 16-year-old youth, Kıvanç Uman, lost his life due to the blows he received amidst the chants of his peers gathered around him saying, 'hit him, kick him, stab him in the stomach...' The youth who fought with Uman and two friends who encouraged him have been arrested.
The people of my country read this news with a sigh of 'alas, alas, what a pity...' and forgot it within a minute.
This is a pathetic situation peculiar to us; we are increasingly becoming insensitive to the pain of others and alienated from the society we live in.
In the big picture, we will experience the destructive consequences of a serious social disintegration, a rupture, and an inability to come together in grief and joy, but the painful death of 16-year-old Kıvanç concerns the government more than any of us.
It concerns the esteemed person who is the Minister of National Education and the government's cyclops, RTÜK, which has left its primary duties aside to hunt down dissidents and rain down fines on independent TV channels.

Television channels blur wine glasses and raki glasses in series and movies so they don't have a negative impact on young people... Alcohol imagery is within the scope of RTÜK bans. However, the same RTÜK says nothing about mafia-like 'hero' roles where people kill dozens with guns in their hands, or about series that are repetitions of each other and glorify violence and lumpenism!
A raki glass is banned, but thuggery, shooting people in the head, taking revenge, being a mafia boss or a hitman, and a bunch of murders, threats, and hails of bullets in every episode... All of it is free! So much so that it is processed in all these series that these types are protected by the state, respected, and become very wealthy people!
Children and young people take these criminal types as role models by watching these damn series. That's not all; because the mafia has settled into the capillaries of the state, the judiciary, and the police during the AKP era, young people internalize violence and the dirty order not only from series but also by watching, seeing, and emulating the system that the government has corrupted.

And... Where are those old educators!
Teachers have to deal with a pile of problems in schools such as peer bullying, violence, and gang formation...
It is not easy, but it is clear that neither educators nor school principals are showing the necessary sensitivity...
The AKP found the remedy to 'leap into the age' in education by making prayer rooms mandatory in primary schools and preschool institutions!
The Ministry of National Education is like a directorate affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs... Children's schools, boarding courses that trap poor children...
The coalition of sects that makes up the AKP continues to target children and schools. Just like FETÖ...
These structures suggest sect discipline in response to the spiral of violence...
Between a rock and a hard place?
Turkey must get rid of this grip... It must start with education first... If we cannot fix education, if we cannot train teachers and students, we will have a country with no tomorrow...
Saving education requires getting rid of the AKP, starting with the Minister of National Education...
