Ahmet Kural wins Best Actor award in Italy
Ahmet Kural was awarded the Best Actor prize at the Italian Global Series Festival held in Italy for his performance in the series "Gassal."
Ahmet Kural, who plays the character "Baki" in the original series "Gassal" produced by TRT's international digital platform tabii, won the "Maximo Best Actor Award" in the "Comedy" category at the Italian Global Series Festival. Held in the Riccione and Rimini regions, the festival saw Kural's performance receive great acclaim from both the audience and the jury.
The festival is held to support international productions and highlight projects in the world of television and digital platforms. Within this scope, Maximo Awards are presented in the "Drama," "Comedy," and "Mini-Series" categories.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Ahmet Kural stated that the series "Gassal" addresses a universal theme like death through the language of dark comedy.
