Kit Harington and Sophie Turner reunite in the same film years later
Game of Thrones' unforgettable duo Kit Harington and Sophie Turner have appeared on screen together as lovers in a new film. The pair, who played siblings for years, described the intimate scenes they had to film together as 'disgusting and weird'.
Kit Harington and Sophie Turner, who brought the characters of Jon Snow and Sansa Stark to life in the globally popular series Game of Thrones, are in the spotlight with a new project. While the duo is etched in viewers' memories for their sibling bond, they have appeared on camera as lovers in the gothic horror film "The Dreadful".
The film's leads, 39-year-old Kit Harington and 30-year-old Sophie Turner, explained that this unusual change created a significant psychological challenge for them.

Regarding his partner in the film, Harington stated, "We shot those scenes. It felt really disgusting, but we got through it somehow. Sophie is a magnificent actress. However, she was just a child when she started Game of Thrones, and it was hard for me to think of her apart from that role." Fans of the duo could not hide their surprise upon watching the scenes in the film.
Turner said that Harington was the first person who came to mind when looking for a male lead for the film. Turner, who serves as both an actress and producer on the production, was initially unaware of what they were in for while reading the script: "I sent the script to Kit. He immediately messaged me back saying, 'Yes, I would love to, but this is going to be really weird, Soph.' At first, I thought he was talking nonsense and started reading the script in detail. I looked and saw: kissing, kissing, sex, kissing scenes written... I said, 'Oh my God, this is my brother.' But the script was so strong and good that we decided to act professionally and said, 'We have to do this.'"

Openly expressing the discomfort they felt after the first kissing scene on set, Turner said, "We pushed the sex scenes out of our minds and focused only on acting. We went on set and the first kissing scene happened. Then we went to the director's monitor to watch that scene; I won't lie, both of our stomachs turned, it was a really disgusting feeling."
While the film "The Dreadful" takes the duo's years-long professional relationship to a different point, how this new pairing will be received in the cinema world remains a subject of curiosity.
