Many events to meet art lovers in Istanbul this week

At the Istanbul State Theater (İDT), the plays "Kırmızı Küre" will be staged today, April 23 and 24; "Park" from April 23-26; and "Bay Z." and "Josef Bieder'in Yıldızının Parladığı An (Aksesuvarcı)" from April 23-27.

At the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) City Theaters, plays such as "Yeşil Şahmeran Masalı", "Uçan Bisiklet", "Çöpsüz Dünya", "Cadı Kazanı", "Benim Küçük Yıldızım", "Geçit", "Fosforlu Cevriye", and "Kimse Öyle Şeyleri Konuşmuyor Artık" will meet theater enthusiasts from April 21-27.

At the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), the films "Köylüler" and "Demir Pençe" will be presented to cinema lovers on April 21-22, and "Çocuk ve Balıkçı" on April 23-24. Additionally, the play "Romeo ve Juliet" will be staged at AKM on April 25-26-27.

At Zorlu PSM, the plays "Kibritin Ucunda" and "Amadeus" will meet audiences on April 22, and the "Kusursuz Dünya Müzikali" on April 23.

The play "Aydınlıkevler" will be performed as part of the April 27 event program at Maximum Uniq Hall.

CONCERTS

At the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), the concerts "İzahlı Müzik Saati 'Acemaşiran'" will be held on April 25, "Bahar Şarkıları" on April 26, and "Carmina Burana" on April 27.

At the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall, the "Caz Yağmuru" concert will take place today, and the "Gonzalo Rubalcaba Trio" concert will meet Istanbul music lovers on April 25.

ONGOING EXHIBITIONS

At the Istanbul Cinema Museum, the group exhibition titled "Inspirations", which features previously unexhibited works by 86-year-old State Artist and painter Devrim Erbil, as well as works by various other artists, is welcoming visitors.

The group exhibition "Sanata Dair", curated by Ayşenur Karadibek and Sevgi Akgül, is welcoming visitors at the Grand Çamlıca Mosque exhibition hall.

The "Mühür" exhibition, consisting of works by philography artist Ümmühan Gürbüz and her students, is on display at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) New Mosque Hünkar Pavilion.

The "Yemin Olsun" exhibition, which focuses on the verses of oath in the Quran, can be viewed at the Başakşehir City Art Gallery.

APRIL 23 NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY AND CHILDREN'S DAY EVENTS

Meşher is opening its "Göz Alabildiğine İstanbul" exhibition, themed around "Istanbul landscapes," for children aged 7-12 with a special tour.

At the AKM Children's Art Festival, a carousel and competitions with surprise gifts are being organized, and performances such as "Süper Patates ve Kaçak Bezelye Süpermarkette Karnaval Kukla Tiyatrosu", "Süper Patates ve Kaçak Bezelye Gizemli Bir Gece Kukla Tiyatrosu", "Süper Patates ve Kaçak Bezelye Şarkı Yarışması Kukla Tiyatrosu", and "Sihir Bakanı İllüzyon" are being presented to children.

Galataport Istanbul will host the children's dance competition event "Dance Battle" on April 23.

At Yapı Kredi bomontiada, as part of the "World Children's Festival", events such as a circus parade, face painting, hair braiding, rhythm, zumba, and flapper swing, along with workshops including "Toy Workshop," "Portrait from Cardboard," "Recycling Workshop," and "Caricature Drawing," are meeting children.

Within the scope of the İş Sanat April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day programs, children's workshops will be held at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum until April 28.
