The gold bikini costume worn by Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" film "Return of the Jedi" has been sold at auction for $175,000.
Princess Leia's gold bikini costume was put up for auction at the auction house Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas.
Stating that the costume attracted great interest at the auction, officials from the auction house announced that the gold bikini was sold for $175,000.
The third film of the Star Wars series, Return of the Jedi, directed by Richard Marquand, was released in 1983.
