10 ISIS members sought with red notices brought to Turkey
In an operation conducted through the cooperation of Turkish and Syrian intelligence units, 10 ISIS members sought internationally with red notices, including individuals linked to the Ankara Train Station bombing, were captured and handed over to Turkey.
As a result of a joint effort by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Syrian Intelligence Service, key members of the terrorist organization ISIS were captured in an operation conducted in Syria. During the operation, 10 ISIS members were apprehended, including individuals who had been sought for some time with red notices and were determined to be linked to the attack that took place at the Ankara Train Station.
The captured suspects were brought to Turkey within the scope of security procedures. It was emphasized that the operation represents a new phase in the contacts maintained between the two countries regarding border security and counter-terrorism.
According to information received from officials, the judicial process regarding the detained individuals has been initiated.
