10-year-old causes terror: Sets fire to a chain supermarket in Bursa
In the Nilüfer district of Bursa, a child around 10 years old started a fire in a chain supermarket branch by setting paper towels ablaze with a lighter.
A notable incident occurred at around 14:30 at a chain supermarket branch located on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Street in the Nilüfer district of Bursa. According to the information obtained, a child around 10 years old entered the market with a lighter in hand. The child tore off a label from the products consisting of napkins on the shelves and set the label on fire with the lighter. Afterward, the child dropped the burning label into the section where paper towels were located.
FIRE EXTINGUISHED BEFORE SPREADING
Having completed the act, the child ran away from the market. Due to the burning label, the napkins caught fire in a short time. Those nearby who noticed the incident immediately notified the authorities. Upon the report, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire crews intervened quickly and extinguished the fire before it could spread. Some products in the market were damaged as a result of the fire.
