100,000 lira execution bargain at Ankara Courthouse! Prosecutor overheard, fake director arrested

A suspect who introduced himself as a clerk director, claiming he could postpone an execution in exchange for 100,000 lira at the Ankara Courthouse, was detained on the instructions of a public prosecutor who overheard the conversation. In an incident that took place in the central cafeteria of the Ankara Courthouse, it is alleged that N.K., who was on leave from prison, asked his friend C.K. for help in postponing his sentence. C.K. told him that he had a relative working as a clerk director at the courthouse and that he could handle the procedures, and subsequently introduced N.K. to G.Ş.

ALLEGEDLY DEMANDED 100,000 LIRA

G.Ş., who introduced himself as a clerk director, claimed that he could carry out the sentence postponement process in exchange for 100,000 lira. Meanwhile, a public prosecutor who heard the conversation taking place in the cafeteria gave instructions to law enforcement officers to have the suspect detained.

TWO PEOPLE DETAINED

Police teams detained G.Ş. and C.K. On the instructions of the public prosecutor, proceedings were initiated against the two suspects for "attempted qualified fraud."

Within the scope of the investigation, 3 suspects were released by the duty court under judicial control measures, with a travel ban imposed.

FOUND TO HAVE 17 CRIMINAL RECORDS

In the investigation conducted by police teams, it was determined that G.Ş. had a total of 17 criminal records for various offenses, including theft from an open area, theft from a vehicle, fraud, property damage, and pickpocketing.
