12 mine workers stranded in minibus due to heavy snowfall in Adana
Twelve mine workers are waiting to be rescued after their minibus slid into a ditch due to heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions in the Feke district of Adana. The workers issued a call for help while facing cold and harsh weather conditions.
Heavy snow and blizzards, which began in the morning and are affecting the higher elevations of the Feke district, are negatively impacting daily life. Twelve workers employed at a mine set off in a minibus in the morning to return home from their shift. When they reached the Bel area of the Şahmuratlı Yedigöz Plateau, the minibus slid into a ditch due to the heavy snowfall. The 12 mine workers became stranded in the snow. The workers, who filmed these moments second by second, stated that they are waiting to be rescued.

Miner Halil İbrahim Beyaz Gül said, "There is very heavy snowfall. We called the highway crews and could not get a solution. It is very cold, we are freezing, and we are waiting to be rescued from here."
