12 people arrested in Borsa Istanbul fraud operation
Of the 13 people detained on allegations of market fraud at Borsa Istanbul, 12 have been arrested, while one was released under judicial control.
A large-scale investigation is underway into individuals identified as having engaged in manipulation at Borsa Istanbul. In simultaneous operations conducted in Istanbul, Ankara, and Şanlıurfa, suspects alleged to have formed a criminal organization to commit market fraud were taken into custody.
12 PEOPLE ARRESTED
The 13 individuals, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse. The prosecutor's office requested the arrest of 12 people and sought judicial control for one person. The court ordered the arrest of the 12 individuals and released one person under judicial control.
