13 agreements signed between Turkey and Kazakhstan
Within the framework of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Astana, 13 agreements were signed between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his contacts in Astana. Following his bilateral meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Erdoğan attended the decoration presentation ceremony.
President Erdoğan, who was awarded the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Order for the first time, also attended the signing ceremony for agreements between the two countries alongside his counterpart Tokayev. During the ceremony, 13 cooperation agreements were signed, and the remote opening of the newly built Khoja Ahmed Yasawi School in Nurdağı, Gaziantep—which was damaged in the February 6 earthquakes—was also conducted by Kazakhstan.
At the ceremony, agreements were signed between the governments of Kazakhstan and Turkey regarding the Promotion and Protection of Investments, the Establishment of a Cultural Center, a Protocol on Legal Matters, an Agreement on a Joint Program between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey regarding the Opening of Turkish Maarif Foundation Schools, an Infrastructure Facilities Agreement aimed at transforming Almaty International Airport into a regional aviation hub for Central Asia, a Cooperation Agreement between Samruk-Kazyna JSC and YDA Construction Industry, a Memorandum of Understanding between the TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and TRT, a Cooperation Agreement on Oilfield Services between KazMunayGas National Company JSC and Turkish Petroleum Corporation, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Astana International Financial Centre and the Istanbul Financial Centre, and an Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Venture for the Production and Maintenance of ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
