15 criminals wanted with red notices extradited to Turkey

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that a total of 15 individuals—14 wanted internationally via red notices and one wanted nationally—have been captured in Georgia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Serbia, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and brought to Turkey.

15 criminals wanted with red notices extradited to Turkey

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that suspects who had fled abroad and were subject to arrest warrants have been located and brought to Turkey. According to information provided by Yerlikaya, INTERPOL data, security forces' information systems, social media platforms, and open sources were examined in detail.

In this context, the locations of the wanted individuals were identified one by one through the coordinated efforts of the Departments of Intelligence, Narcotics, Public Order, Migrant Smuggling, and Cybercrime.

During the process conducted by the Ministry of Justice, close cooperation was established with the security forces of the relevant countries to capture these individuals, who were wanted internationally via red notices and nationally. The suspects were captured through the operations carried out and extradited to Turkey.

Here are the names and crimes of the individuals who were extradited:

Captured in Georgia:

  • A.Ö. – Trafficking of drugs or stimulants
  • S.Ç. – Fraud using information systems and migrant smuggling
  • İ.K. – Deprivation of liberty, assault, violation of residential immunity, armed threat, and property damage
  • D.T. – Intentional injury, resisting an officer to prevent duty, damaging public property, insult, and unlicensed weapon
  • İ.Ç. – Escape of a convict or detainee, homicide, and smuggling prohibited items into a penal institution or detention center
  • A.Ş. – Child sexual abuse, deprivation of liberty through force, threat, or deception
  • İ.K. – Assault, qualified robbery, deprivation of liberty, false statement in the issuance of an official document, forgery, fraud, and counterfeiting
  • Ö.B. – Armed robbery, threat, insult, armed robbery by multiple persons, deprivation of liberty, and armed threat

Captured in Germany:

  • M.Y. – Trafficking or supplying drugs or stimulants
  • Ş.A. – Intentional homicide
  • Ö.G. – Fraud using information systems

Captured in Greece:

  • B.Ş. – Theft, violation of residential immunity, and property damage

Captured in Belgium:

  • A.G. – Intentional injury

Captured in Serbia:

  • K.K. – Trafficking or supplying drugs or stimulants

Captured in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus:

  • C.K. – Forgery of private documents, fraud, and usury

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that with this latest operation, the number of criminals extradited during the current cabinet's term has reached 407.
