16-year-old girl stabbed by her peers

The incident occurred around 17:30 in Nene Hatun Park, located in the Feritpaşa neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district. 

STABBED IN THE CHEST

While A.O. was sitting in the park with her friends, two girls with whom she had previously argued on social media approached her. Following a dispute that escalated into a fight, A.O. was wounded in the chest with a knife. Covered in blood, A.O. was brought to a nearby private health clinic by her friends. After receiving initial treatment from staff at the clinic, A.O. was transported to Meram Faculty of Medicine by an ambulance that had been called to the scene. Police have launched an investigation to capture the two female attackers who fled the scene. 

"THE VICTIM'S CONDITION IS STABLE"

Nurse Hilal Ekiz, who provided the first intervention for A.O., stated that her condition is stable, saying, "Suddenly there was a scream. Two girls came running to our health clinic. One of the girls had been wounded in the chest with a knife during a fight and was bleeding. We immediately brought her inside and applied a compress. Her oxygen levels were low, so we provided oxygen. After stopping the bleeding and performing the necessary initial intervention, we notified the police and medical teams. We then handed the victim over to the 112 Emergency Health Services team. The victim's condition is currently stable."
