177 social media account managers identified for spreading FETÖ propaganda

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that legal action has been initiated against 177 social media account managers who engaged in propaganda for the organization on social media platforms following the death of FETÖ ringleader Fetullah Gülen.

In a statement on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya noted that the Department of Cybercrime had identified 177 social media account managers who were found to have engaged in FETÖ propaganda, made laudatory posts, or shared content in the nature of condolences on social media platforms following the death of the FETÖ ringleader.
Stating that legal action has been initiated against these account managers by the Departments of Cybercrime, Counter-Terrorism, and Security, Yerlikaya emphasized that virtual patrols are on duty 24/7 to combat cybercrime and criminals.
