In the Darıca district of Kocaeli, a natural gas outage occurred in 7 neighborhoods due to a malfunction at the Palgaz center, leaving approximately 19,000 people struggling in the middle of winter.
In the Darıca district of Kocaeli, a natural gas outage was implemented in 7 neighborhoods due to a malfunction at the Palgaz center. The outage, which began in the morning hours, affected approximately 19,000 people.

Following the malfunction, repair efforts were initiated in the Nene Hatun, Pirireis, Osmangazi, Cami, and Kazım Karabekir neighborhoods. It was stated that teams are working intensively to resolve the issue. Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık also went to the area to receive information about the teams' work. Mayor Bıyık announced that there is no gas leak in the neighborhoods and that the disruption would be resolved by the morning hours.
Citizens affected by the outage faced great difficulty being left without gas in the middle of winter. Authorities announced that the work would be completed rapidly and natural gas service would be restored.
