Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2 terrorists in the orange category were neutralized during an operation carried out in the rural areas of the Pervari district of Siirt.

??PKK terrorists named Ferhat Serhildan (codenamed) İlhan Tekinalp, the so-called Kato Jirka regional commander, and Devrim Cudi (codenamed) Recep Kipçak, who were in the orange category, were neutralized along with their weapons in the "GÜRZ-24" operation carried out by the Gendarmerie in the rural areas of Pervari, Siirt province.??

??Under the coordination of the Gendarmerie General Command Intelligence Department and the Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Department; as a result of intelligence work conducted by the Mardin Provincial Gendarmerie Command; the terrorists were neutralized during a contact search carried out by the Siirt Provincial Gendarmerie Command with J-UAV support, under the protection of Gendarmerie ATAK Attack Helicopters, and with JÖH (Gendarmerie Special Operations), Gendarmerie Commando Teams, and security guards dispatched to the region with armored vehicles. It was determined that the terrorists:

??Operated in the so-called Botan Province, and obtained food/supplies from the public through threats and blackmail,

??Were seeking to carry out actions against security forces in the region,

??Gave instructions to carry out actions against citizens engaged in nomadic herding in the highlands,

??Were among the terrorists who carried out the murder of one of our citizens in the highlands between Şırnak Beytüşşebap Yeşilöz, Mezraa, and Van-Çatak on September 13, 2023.

I congratulate our heroic Gendarmerie and Security Guards who carried out the operation. May God protect them. Our nation's prayers are with you.????

We will not stop or pause until the last terrorist is neutralized.
