It has been learned that Azat Akıncı, one of the so-called Zap commanders of the PKK terrorist organization, has been neutralized. According to the report by Özgür Cebe from Sözcü, it was determined that Akıncı played a role in the attack on the Metina base area on December 23, 2023, in which 6 soldiers were martyred and 4 soldiers were wounded.
A bounty of up to 20 million TL had been placed on Akıncı, who was in the "red category" on the Ministry of Interior's wanted terrorists list.
