22-year-old motorcycle courier loses his life

In Konya, 22-year-old Mahmut Çoban, who worked as a motorcycle courier for the company Trendyol, lost his life after being struck by a car that pulled onto the road incorrectly. 

The incident occurred on the first day of the new year around 15:00 in the Bosna Hersek neighborhood of Konya's Selçuklu district, when a car that pulled onto the road incorrectly struck 22-year-old motorcycle courier Mahmut Çoban. Seriously injured, Çoban was rushed to the Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital by medical teams. However, the young worker could not be saved despite all interventions. 

'HE WANTED TO OPEN HIS OWN BUSINESS' 

According to the report in Kurye Haber, a friend of Mahmut Çoban stated the following: 

“Mahmut had been working as a courier for a long time. He wanted to save up and open his own business. We lost him at a very young age. In our attempt to earn a few pennies, we have neither respect nor safety in traffic. The funeral of our friend Mahmut will be held today following the noon prayer at Yazır Cemetery. We invite our colleagues who are able to attend our funeral. I pray for God's mercy upon Mahmut. May the Lord not make any family experience this pain.”
