223 people apprehended in FETÖ operations

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated, "In our operations that have been ongoing for the last 20 days by our police against FETÖ, 223 suspects have been apprehended."

Minister Yerlikaya, in a statement on his social media account, noted that 223 suspects were apprehended in the operations against FETÖ that have been ongoing by the police for the last 20 days.

Minister Yerlikaya provided the following information:

"223 suspects were apprehended who were active within FETÖ's 'covert structures', who were users of FETÖ's encrypted communication program ByLock, who continued to communicate with individuals within the organization via payphones, and who provided financial support through tradespeople affiliated with the organization. 87 were arrested. Judicial control provisions were applied to 50 of them. The proceedings for the others are ongoing."
