A decapitated body was found in an irrigation canal in Kastamonu. While the 3 people detained in connection with the incident were arrested by the court they were brought before, it was alleged that the murder was committed due to a forbidden affair.
The incident occurred on Sunday, May 5, in the Dere village area of central Kastamonu.
According to the information obtained, following an investigation by the Kastamonu Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams into a vehicle found abandoned by citizens, a decapitated body was discovered in an irrigation canal.
It was determined that the body belonged to 48-year-old Adem Yeşilgil, who had been reported missing for 4 days and resided in the village of İğdir in the Araç district.
Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Kastamonu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, gendarmerie teams detained Ş.K., N.K., and E.Ö. in connection with the decapitated body.
After their procedures at the police station and a health check, the 3 suspects were referred to the Kastamonu Courthouse.
All 3 individuals were arrested after appearing before a judge.
Commando and public security units affiliated with the Kastamonu Provincial Gendarmerie Command are continuing their search for Yeşilgil's missing head.
On the other hand, it was alleged that the murder was committed due to a forbidden affair.
