In the Alanya district of Antalya, three chain market branches were sealed for two days following inspections by municipal police teams.
According to a statement from the Alanya Municipality, inspections conducted by the municipal police teams revealed that three chain market branches were selling products such as flour, hot sauce, popcorn, kibbeh, biscuits, chocolate, white cheese, sausages, and soft drinks that had expired or were spoiled.
Legal proceedings were initiated, and the commercial activities of the three chain market branches were suspended for 2 days, and the premises were sealed.
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated that they are continuing their inspections of all food businesses in Alanya alongside the municipal police teams.

Noting that administrative fines were imposed on the three businesses for endangering public health and that the sealing process was carried out, Özçelik urged all businesses to show the necessary sensitivity regarding this issue.
