3 dogs stabbed by neighbor while grazing livestock

The incident occurred yesterday evening in the Sipahiler neighborhood of the İhsangazi district. According to the information obtained, while Kadir Işık, who is involved in livestock farming, was grazing his animals around the village, his 3 dogs began fighting with dogs belonging to his neighbor, D.K. It is alleged that D.K. stabbed Işık's 3 dogs, claiming that the dogs were trying to attack him. While the 2 stabbed dogs died, the injured dog, which had disappeared, returned home after a while. The injured dog was treated by a veterinarian. D.K. was taken to the police station upon Işık's complaint and his statement was taken. It was learned that D.K., against whom judicial proceedings were initiated, was released after giving his statement.

Describing the incident, Kadir Işık said, “While I was going to graze my animals, my dogs started fighting with my neighbor's dogs. Then they went into the trees. While waiting for the dogs to come out, I heard the sounds of all 3 dogs stop. When I came here, one of my dogs died in front of me, and another one had died among the trees. My other injured dog came home in the evening. My dogs were stabbed by my neighbor. We have had a feud for 20 years. I am filing a complaint to the fullest extent.”
