30 million dollar grant from Erdoğan to Somalia
According to the 'International Agreement' published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdoğan, 30 million dollars in aid will be provided to Somalia.
According to the Presidential Decree published in today's issue of the Official Gazette, it has been announced that a financial contribution (grant) of 30 million dollars will be provided to Somalia.
The text of the decision states, ''Within the framework of the historical and cultural ties between the parties and the long-standing friendly relations, it has been agreed upon with the desire to strengthen and further develop friendly relations between the parties.''
The published decision was announced as follows: ''The Donor shall, within the framework of its domestic law and annual budget appropriations, provide the Recipient with a grant-based financial contribution (hereinafter referred to as the “Grant”) not exceeding 30,000,000 USD, at a rate of 2,500,000 USD per month.''
