34 students from KYK dormitory seek medical attention
In the Alaplı district of Zonguldak, 34 students sought medical attention at hospitals due to suspected food poisoning.
According to the information obtained, students staying at the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) dormitory in the Alaplı district sought medical attention at hospitals in Alaplı and Kdz. Ereğli due to complaints of nausea and dizziness. 23 of the students applied to Alaplı State Hospital, while 11 applied to Kdz. Ereğli State Hospital.

Teams from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry have initiated an investigation by taking samples of the food the students last consumed at the dormitory.
Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Hakan Yüksel also traveled to the district to receive information about the students' health status. Alaplı District Governor Selçuk Köksal arrived at the KYK building and launched an investigation. It was learned that the students were treated on an outpatient basis.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
