349 thousand lira fine for person listing home at exorbitant price

Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan stated in a post on his social media account that they are fighting against those who want to speculate in the second-hand housing market.

Sharing details of a fine imposed in this context, Mahmut Gürcan made the following statement:

"Our fight against speculators who try to create a bubble in apartment prices by listing second-hand apartments at prices that do not align with market realities continues unabated!

As a result of the inspections carried out in this context, an administrative fine of 349 thousand TL has been imposed on an individual who engaged in speculation by applying exorbitant prices in the second-hand housing market, and administrative sanctions will continue to be applied against those who engage in activities aimed at disrupting market balance. We will continue our efforts to prevent exorbitant price increases effectively and decisively."
