39-year-old cargo company declares bankruptcy

Turkey's long-established cargo firm, Ankara Kargo, has declared bankruptcy. The bankruptcy process for Ankara Kargo began with a decision by the Ankara 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance. The court rejected the company's request for a concordat and decided to lift the temporary injunction.

Furthermore, it was ruled that the bankruptcy be immediately reported to the Ankara 21st Enforcement and Bankruptcy Office. In accordance with the decision, the duties of the board of commissioners serving during the concordat process were terminated.

TEMPORARY INJUNCTION MEASURES ENDED

Following the court's decision, all measures taken within the scope of the temporary injunction have ended. The necessary notifications were sent to the relevant institutions, and the concordat process has been officially completed.

Founded in 1986, Ankara Kargo possessed an extensive transportation network across Turkey. The company operated with over 70 service points, primarily in major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Kocaeli, Adana, Gaziantep, and Antalya. Additionally, it provided services through 19 transfer and distribution centers across five different regions.
