4.4 magnitude earthquake strikes Kahramanmaraş

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş. AFAD reported the depth of the earthquake as 10.53 km.

STATEMENT FROM YERLİKAYA

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş.

Reporting that AFAD and other relevant institutions have begun field surveys, Yerlikaya announced that there were no negative reports.

Yerlikaya's statement is as follows:

"All teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions have immediately begun field surveys.

As of now, there are no negative reports.

I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake.

May God protect our country and our nation from disasters."
