4.7 magnitude earthquake in Elazığ!

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the 4.7 magnitude tremor, with its epicenter in the center of Elazığ, was determined to have occurred at a depth of 13.83 kilometers.

The AFAD Presidency stated the following in a post on its social media account:

"As of now, there are no negative reports following the 4.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred in our Elazığ province at 03:25. Field scanning operations are ongoing. We extend our best wishes to the affected citizens."

STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

In a statement made by the Elazığ Governor's Office, it was shared that "As of 3:45, no damage reports have been made to the AFAD or 112 emergency lines in our province following the earthquake. All our units are closely monitoring the effects of the earthquake in our province."
