4 detained in football match-fixing conspiracy investigation! Former TFF executives among them...

Lütfi Arıboğan, Ahmet Gülüm, İlhan Helvacı, and Ebru Köksal have been detained as part of the football match-fixing conspiracy investigation. In the case file conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, the individuals in question were processed on charges of "aiding the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization" and "violating the confidentiality of an investigation."

The four detained suspects were brought to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan following their processing. It was reported that the process of taking their statements at the prosecutor's office has begun.

It was learned that Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç is included in the investigation file as a complainant.

The statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is as follows:

"Within the scope of the investigation conducted regarding the investigations and prosecutions known in the public eye as the '2011 Football Match-Fixing Investigation,' which targeted many people from the sports community, including former Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Aziz Yıldırım, and which were carried out irregularly by some former public officials who were members of the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization, instructions have been given to the Istanbul Police Department to have Lütfi ARIBOĞAN, Ahmet GÜLÜM, İlhan Helvacı, and Ebru KÖKSAL—who are suspected of participating in irregular transactions in connection with Mehmet Baransu, a member of the aforementioned terrorist organization—brought to our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to have their defenses taken on charges of Aiding the FETÖ/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization and Violating the Confidentiality of an Investigation."
