500 thousand lira marriage support is coming

Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) General Manager İzani Turan announced a new social support project for young people in need while speaking about the foundation's 2025 activities and 2026 goals. According to a report in Türkiye Gazetesi, Turan stated that comprehensive support will be provided to young people at the marriage stage through the campaign, which will be implemented under the slogan “Two People, One Life.”

İzani Turan noted that the campaign covers orphans and young people in need residing in Turkey, stating, “Within the scope of the project, we aim to provide dowry support to orphans and young people in need between the ages of 18-35 residing in Turkey and to hold the couples' wedding ceremonies.”

Turan also provided a clear figure regarding the support amount. The General Manager announced that “the grant will be 500 thousand lira.” Stating that all aid provided within the scope of the campaign will be covered by the contributions of philanthropists, Turan said that the project will be carried out with an understanding of “permanent and sustainable support.”

APPLICATION DATES

Sharing information regarding the application process, İzani Turan said, “Applications will begin on March 13 and end on March 31.”

INCOME REQUIREMENT EXISTS

Explaining that an income criterion has also been determined for those who will benefit from the project, Turan stated that the income of the households of the young people applying must not exceed two minimum wages, sharing the information that “household income will not exceed two minimum wages.”
