51 FETÖ members attempting to flee to Greece caught in Edirne
In Edirne, 51 suspects who are members of FETÖ and were attempting to flee to Greece have been detained.
In operations conducted over the past week by the Provincial Police Department, the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, and border units, 51 suspects attempting to cross into Greece illegally were detained during checks in the first-degree military forbidden zone along the Greek border.
It was learned that there were active arrest warrants for the suspects, who were determined to be affiliated with FETÖ.
Following the procedures, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where 1 of them was released after questioning by the prosecutor's office.
Of the remaining suspects, 36 were arrested by the judgeship, and 14 were released under judicial control conditions.
