6 people arrested for assaulting a 16-year-old in Istanbul
In Büyükçekmece, 8 children were detained for assaulting 16-year-old M.A.Z. and sharing the footage on social media. 6 of the children were arrested and sent to prison.
In Istanbul's Büyükçekmece district, 8 children aged between 12 and 17 filmed themselves assaulting 16-year-old M.A.Z. with a mobile phone camera and shared the footage on social media.
Police teams, who launched an investigation following the footage, detained the 8 children.
According to the report, 6 of the children were sent to prison after being referred to the courthouse following processing at the Juvenile Bureau.
