7.6 million applications made to CIMER in 2023! 47.3% are university graduates

Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun announced that the Presidency's Communication Center (CIMER) was met with increasing interest in 2023, with the number of applications rising by 23 percent to reach 7 million 650 thousand.

While 98 percent of applications made to CIMER in 2023 were submitted via the internet, 85 percent of these applications were made through mobile phones and tablets. Additionally, it was noted that for the first time, applications to CIMER were also made via smart televisions.

Applications include various types such as complaints, requests, information inquiries, opinions, suggestions, and expressions of gratitude. Furthermore, 39 thousand applications were made to the "Share Your Century of Turkey Dream" platform, which was launched to gather public opinion regarding the 100th anniversary of the Republic, celebrated across Turkey.

2 MILLION APPLICATIONS FROM THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE

It is stated that 2 million citizens made applications to the "CIMER Earthquake Emergency" application, which was activated following the earthquakes. The provinces with the highest number of earthquake-related applications were Malatya, Hatay, Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, and Gaziantep.

Furthermore, 47.3 percent of those who applied to CIMER in 2023 were university graduates, while 32.4 percent were high school graduates. To increase the accuracy of applications and the security of citizens, a "two-factor authentication" requirement was introduced at the application stage.
