7-year-old Cumali, who went missing in Adana, had been sought for 6 days! Tragic news has arrived
Search efforts for 7-year-old Cumali Timi, who went missing in the Karataş district of Adana, were continuing on their 6th day. According to the latest information, the lifeless body of 7-year-old Cumali has been found.
7-year-old Cumali, the older of two children of Karanfil and İbrahim Timi (28), a couple who came to the Bahçe neighborhood of Adana's Karataş district from the Düziçi district of Osmaniye as seasonal agricultural workers, left their tent on the morning of April 12 to play with his friend.
After he left and could not be reached again, the family and other workers searched for the child. When the child could not be found, the situation was reported to the gendarmerie. Upon the report, gendarmerie and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region.
LIFELESS BODY FOUND
The lifeless body of Cumali Timi, who went missing while playing in the Karataş district of Adana, was found by police divers in an irrigation canal near the tent where they were staying. Timi's body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
It was reported that the teams' work regarding the missing person case, which had not yielded results until now, was continuing on the 6th day.
It was stated that the teams were conducting search operations in and around the canal with approximately 150 personnel, boats, and drones.
