80 university students hospitalized with suspected food poisoning

Some university students staying at the Kağızmanlı Hıfzı Dormitory began experiencing abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea in the morning hours. 80 students sought medical attention at Kağızman State Hospital due to suspected food poisoning.

Some of the students who were treated have been discharged.

Meanwhile, teams have collected samples from the food served at the dormitory for analysis.

STATEMENT FROM THE KARS GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

In a written statement issued by the Kars Governor's Office, it was noted that students staying at the Kağızmanlı Hıfzı Dormitory, which is affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, reported to the dormitory administration with suspected food poisoning, and the following information was provided:

"Our students have been transferred to Kağızman State Hospital. 

The general health condition of our students is good, and they are being kept under observation as a precautionary measure. Necessary samples regarding the suspected food poisoning have been collected, and investigations by authorized public institutions are ongoing."
