9-hour rescue operation: Power plant workers stranded in a blizzard in Sivas!
Four wind power plant workers who were stranded after being caught in a blizzard in the Gürün district of Sivas were rescued after a challenging 9-hour operation.
Snowfall and blizzards affecting Sivas have had a negative impact on daily life. Due to the severe blizzard, the Gürün district of Sivas was effectively cut off from neighboring provinces and districts.
Four employees of a wind power plant located near Çiçekyurt Village on the Gürün-Sivas highway became stranded on the road following a shift change.
District Special Administration teams managed to rescue the 4 power plant workers after a challenging 9-hour operation.
The 4 individuals, whose health status is reported to be good, were taken to Çiçekyurt Village to spend the night.
