90-year-old Alzheimer's patient who went missing in Denizli found alive
DENİZLİ (İHA) – In Denizli, 90-year-old Nazmi Allın, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was found alive in the evening following search and rescue efforts launched after he went missing in the morning.
According to the information obtained, a search operation was launched for 90-year-old Alzheimer's patient Nazmi Allın, who was reported missing in the Kızılyer neighborhood of Honaz district on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, around 11:00 AM. Acting on the report, the Gendarmerie, AFAD, and volunteer search and rescue teams conducted field operations in the area. The elderly man's location was identified around 10:25 PM during scans conducted with the support of an AFAD drone. Allın, who was found alive by AKUT teams, received his first medical intervention at the scene. Following the initial treatment, Allın was handed over to medical teams at 10:55 PM and transported to the hospital by ambulance for health checks.
