A new wind of meetings: Özgür Özel to meet with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel held a meeting at the AKP Headquarters.

After the meeting lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes, Özel went to the CHP Headquarters without making a statement. Özel is currently holding an evaluation meeting with his staff at the party regarding his meeting with Erdoğan.

It has been learned that Özgür Özel will also meet with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the coming period. At the meeting, which is expected to take place at Ahlatlıbel, a location preferred from time to time in the past, the meeting Özel held with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also expected to be on the agenda.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had shared on his social media account, "You do not negotiate with the Palace, you struggle against it," while Özel had stated, "We have no intention of restoring the exhausted credibility of some people or becoming a new hope for their depleted political futures through unnecessary debates."

HE HAD CALLED KILIÇDAROĞLU

In a statement made by the CHP yesterday, it was noted that before the meeting Özgür Özel was to hold with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, he had called former chairmen Hikmet Çetin, Altan Öymen, Murat Karayalçın, and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu by phone to inform them about the framework of his meeting with Erdoğan and to receive their views and suggestions.
