Abdulkadir Uraloğlu's comments on Syria: 'The whole world is watching to see what Erdoğan says'

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, in his assessment of the events in Syria, stated that "Turkey is taking initiative regarding where the situation should evolve."

Speaking at the 7th Ordinary District Congress of the AKP in Of, held at the Of Youth Center, Uraloğlu said that their agenda is busy and that the congresses are continuing.

Stating that they have begun the project for the Samsun-Sarp section of the railway project that will run from Ankara to Samsun and from Samsun to Sarp, Uraloğlu said, "This is also valuable for us. We will introduce our district, our city, and our region to the railway. We are building the Kanuni Boulevard and expanding the airport. We will finalize the new airport project and begin work on that as well," he said.

DEVELOPMENTS IN SYRIA

Minister Uraloğlu also made the following assessment regarding the attacks launched by jihadist groups led by HTS in Syria on November 27:

"There is very serious activity in Syria today. We are making some interpretations about where it will evolve, we are trying to follow it, but I want you to know this; under the leadership of our President, the Republic of Turkey is following it very, very closely and is taking very serious initiative regarding where it should evolve. Today, all world leaders are looking at 'What does Recep Tayyip Erdoğan say about Syria?' We have such a leader. Under his administration and leadership, we will provide many more services."
