Abdullah Öcalan met with his family in İmralı!

Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, who is imprisoned at the İmralı F-Type High-Security Closed Prison, along with Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş, met with their relatives under the permission granted for the Ramadan Feast.

Among the relatives participating in the meeting were Abdullah Öcalan's nephew Ömer Öcalan and his brother Mehmet Öcalan, as well as Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş's sister Sabiha Aslan. The meeting, which took place within the scope of the holiday leave, is a continuation of the periodic meetings held between the detainees in İmralı and their families. Officials reported that the meeting was completed without any issues within the framework of prison regulations.

This meeting took place after a period of time had passed since the detainees' last meetings with their families. Prison authorities stated that allowing detainees to meet with their families on special occasions such as holidays is a routine practice.
