HER LAWYER ANNOUNCED THE ACQUITTAL

Kayserilioğlu's lawyer, Hüseyin Yıldız, announced that his client had been acquitted in a post on the social media platform X. In his post, Yıldız stated the following:

"Our struggle began last year. First, we lifted the detention, and now, an acquittal verdict... Our greatest wish is for this to be a source of inspiration for all the injustices experienced in our country."

In Kayserilioğlu's case, an arrest warrant was initially issued due to her words in the street interview, and she was subsequently released under judicial control. In the trial that followed, the court concluded the 11-month and 20-day prison sentence it had previously handed down for the charge of 'insulting the president' with an acquittal verdict.
