Additional rights for THY passengers traveling to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan
Turkish Airlines (THY) announced in a statement on its social media account that additional rights have been granted to passengers traveling to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan whose flights were canceled due to Israel's attack on Iran.
The statement shared on the company's social media account included the following:
"Dear passengers; additional rights have been granted to our passengers with flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan.
For tickets issued on or before June 13, 2025, reservation changes for all our passengers registered for flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan between June 13, 2025, and June 20, 2025 (inclusive) will be made free of charge, provided that the transactions are completed by June 20, 2025 (inclusive).
Completely unused tickets will be refunded free of charge. For partially used tickets where the journey has not been completed, the refund process for the unused flights of the ticket will be performed free of charge.
The validity of the ticket can be extended until July 15, 2025 (inclusive) without any fare difference or penalty."
The announcement, which stated that the relevant practices will only be valid for flights operated by THY, noted that ticket changes and refund transactions can be made through THY's website, mobile application, and agencies.
