Administrative fine imposed on İmamoğlu İnşaat by CHP-run Beylikdüzü Municipality

In Beylikdüzü, where Ekrem İmamoğlu served as mayor before being elected Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the administration changed following the arrest of Mayor Murat Çalık as part of an IMM case. CHP member Önder Serkan Çebi took office as acting mayor following the election held on March 26.

On April 11, while a trustee was appointed to İmamoğlu İnşaat by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) and the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, administrative sanctions were applied to the company following inspections conducted after the process.

According to the pro-government newspaper Yeni Şafak, a total fine of 40 million 390 thousand 479 liras and 83 kuruş was imposed on the company during inspections carried out in line with the correspondence from the Istanbul Governor's Office and the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

TIME GIVEN FOR VIOLATIONS

In the official notification sent to the trustee management, it was requested that the violations of the legislation in the project be rectified within 1 month. If the necessary arrangements are not made within this period, a demolition order will be implemented.

On the other hand, it was reported that some additional fines would not be collected if the violations are rectified within the specified period. An administrative fine was also imposed on the site manager, who was considered to have responsibility within the scope of the investigations.

FINALIZED BY COMMITTEE DECISION

It was stated that the sanctions in question were finalized with the signatures of the members of the municipal committee.
