Adnan Oktar gang leader Serdar Dayanık caught in Bodrum while attempting to flee illegally
Serdar Dayanık, one of the prominent figures in the Adnan Oktar criminal organization, was detained in an operation by security forces in the Bodrum district of Muğla while attempting to flee the country illegally.
The operation, conducted by teams from the Muğla Provincial Police Department's Intelligence Branch, took place in the Gündoğan neighborhood of Bodrum. According to information obtained, it was determined that Serdar Dayanık, one of the key figures of the organization, was planning to flee abroad through illegal means.
As a result of the operation, Dayanık was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.
Serdar Dayanık was taken to the Bodrum District Police Department following the procedures. He is expected to be transferred to Istanbul once the legal processes there are completed.
Dayanık, who has a finalized prison sentence of up to 150 years, was among the leading figures who had undertaken significant roles within the organization's structure for years. Authorities stated that the operation was carried out meticulously and that similar steps in the fight against criminal organizations will continue.
