Aegean on alert: Storm warning for 10 cities

In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior, it was noted that based on the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology and the assessments made, an "orange" warning has been issued for Muğla, Aydın, and İzmir, and a "yellow" warning for Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Manisa, Kütahya, Uşak, Denizli, and Afyonkarahisar due to the storm.

STRONG STORM EXPECTED STARTING FROM THE MORNING

The statement reported that strong winds and storms are expected in the Southern Aegean after tomorrow morning, and in the Northern Aegean, western Balıkesir, and Çanakkale starting from the afternoon, while locally strong storms are predicted for the western and high-altitude areas of İzmir, Aydın, and Muğla.

In the statement, citizens were urged to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as disruptions in transportation, roof detachment, tree falls, and dust storms.
