AFAD announces! 73 billion lira in donations have reached disaster victims
73 billion lira of the donations collected following the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes have been delivered to disaster victims.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced that it has delivered 73 billion 437 million 442 thousand 312 TL of the funds collected in its donation account to disaster victims following the events that occurred in 10 provinces due to the 7.7-magnitude earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.
In a statement shared by AFAD on social media, the following expressions were used: "We stand with our nation with all our strength and resources. As of January 2, 2024, we have delivered 73 billion 437 million 442 thousand 312 TL out of the 125 billion 727 million 290 thousand 482 TL collected in our donation account to the disaster victims affected by the disaster of the century as shelter and cash assistance. We will continue without stopping or tiring until the traces of the earthquake are completely erased."
