AFAD announces: Earthquake in the Sea of Marmara!
AFAD reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 and a depth of 6.98 kilometers occurred in the Sea of Marmara.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Earthquake Department announced that a 3.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Erdek Gulf of the Sea of Marmara at approximately 05:42.
It was reported that the earthquake, which occurred 3.96 kilometers from the Gönen district of Balıkesir, had a depth of 6.98 kilometers.
