AFAD announces: The 15 most high-risk districts for a potential Istanbul earthquake
The 15 districts at the highest risk for an Istanbul earthquake have been announced. It was emphasized that the listed districts were determined based on soil liquefaction risk.
Turkey experienced a major catastrophe on February 6, 2023. The consecutive earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş caused massive destruction across 11 provinces.
