AFAD: No international call for aid
A tsunami warning was issued in the region following consecutive earthquakes off the coast of Ishikawa Prefecture in western Japan. AFAD made a statement regarding the matter, saying, "There is no international call for aid."
A tsunami warning was issued in the region following consecutive earthquakes off the coast of Ishikawa Prefecture in western Japan. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) made the following statement regarding the matter:
"A 7.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Anamizu, Japan, today at 10:06. As of now, there is no international call for aid transmitted to our Authority. We extend our best wishes to the friendly and brotherly Japanese people. We are monitoring the developments."
